Cantung Definition and Exploration Drill Program:
North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd. (TSX-V: NTC) (the "Company") is pleased to announce additional results from the ongoing definition and exploration diamond drill program at its 100% owned Cantung Mine in the Northwest Territories, Canada.

The current drill program is focused on orebody extensions below the 3700 level ('West Extension') and has intersected high grade tungsten ore. Preliminary analysis indicates that the high grade intersections occur on the down dip extension of previously mined ore zones (101 Upper Ore Limestone Contact; 104 Within Ore Limestone; 109 On Lower Ore Limestone Contact).

Since the last Cantung Mine news release on December 5th 2007 the ore definition and exploration diamond drilling program in the West Extension has continued with the completion of an additional 21 diamond drill holes. Sixteen holes intersected ore grade mineralization on the down dip/down plunge extension of known ore zones above and below 3700 level (Tables 1 and 2, respectively). Additional drilling is planned in this part of the mine at an accelerated drilling rate.

Quality Assurance
The Company instituted a QA/QC program consistent with Canadian Securities Administrators National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") using best industry practice.
